The role sits within the Business Development team and reports in to the National Sales Manager.

The purpose of the role is to engage with existing, legacy customers to expand growth at a national level

To be responsible and accountable for B2B supply only product sales, implementation and management to achieve business forecast targets.


  • Contribute to business P & L performance in line with business strategy and forecasts, reporting to the Business Development team
  • Contribute to business and product marketing strategy
  • Report performance and risks to management team
  • Identify market opportunities (new and existing)
  • Ensure that adequate governance is in place and followed to deliver target margins across all product types
  • Work with the Marketing team and support focused marketing activities
  • Comprehensive use of business CRM system to enable accurate and meaningful reporting
  • Mobile at National level visiting all legacy and existing client base
  • Management of own call logs and pipeline

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications


  • B2B sales experience (client facing)
  • Manufacturing or engineering background
  • Good level of numeracy/literacy/strategic problem solving
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Microsoft proficient, in particular Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Highly Desirable (but not essential)

  • Membership of and active within industry professional bodies
