Exyte Hargreaves Managing Director Andy Sneyd is appointed as a member of the CIBSE Patrons Steering Committee
Exyte Hargreaves are pleased to announce that Managing Director Andy Sneyd has been appointed as a member of the CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers) Patrons steering committee.
The CIBSE Patrons, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in January are a group of businesses who collaborate to improve business prospects in the building services by offering their financial support and expertise to a wide range of initiatives in sustainability, health & safety, procurement, and most recently BIM (Building Information Modelling).
The institute promotes the industry to young people to increase an interest in developing a career in building service engineers, providing support and opportunities across schools, colleges and universities.
Andy Sneyd has developed a strong relationship with CIBSE, naturally, the next step was to become a CIBSE Patron to advance further in supporting industry initiatives, the development of best practice and innovation and promoting the building services sector as a whole.
Andy Sneyd, Managing Director of Exyte said ‘joining the Patrons community is an exciting opportunity to network with like-minded peers from across our sector and to further promote the excellent work the sector contributes to decarbonising the built environment.’
Chris Brown, CIBSE Patrons Coordinator said ‘We are delighted to have Exyte Hargreaves on board as members and to have Andy now as a member of the group’s steering committee. Andy’s experience and commitment will be a real asset as the group works to extend its reach in the months and years ahead.’
