Exyte Hargreaves win the first Diversity Impact Award at the H & V News Awards 2019
Exyte Hargreaves won the first Diversity Impact Award at the 2019 H & V News Awards ceremony, held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel on 25th April 2019 and hosted by comedian Josh Widdicombe. The new category reflects a growing focus on challenging the traditionally held perception that manufacturing and more specifically engineering, are generally considered male environments.
Andy Sneyd, Exyte Hargreaves’ managing director and a passionate advocate of building an interest in engineering in the minds of future generations, comments, “The business works hard to ensure that it not only attracts but develops talent across all aspects of the business. Promotion from within is a core value of the company and the Enterprise Talent Programme (ETP) was created as a platform for growth and development for all genders and abilities within the business.”
Now in its second year our Executive Talent Programme (ETP) is a purpose designed programme focussed on our Leadership Behaviours including enhanced self-awareness, communication skills, resilience and well-being, leading change and developing coaching and mentoring skills. Key to the success of ETP is the coaching and mentoring support that each delegate receives throughout the programme helping to drive and embed their learning.
